Appraisals

We perform both estate and insurance appraisals. Our personnel are GIA trained and accredited.  We write our appraisals to allow us to recreate the piece if it is ever damaged or lost. Our appraisals are very detailed with descriptions, measurements and weights of metals and stones.

Whether you recently purchased jewelry, have an existing collection whose value is unknown, or need to value jewelry that’s part of an estate, we certainly can help you.

The benefit to an appraisal at the jewelers workshop is three-fold:

1. A factual record that accurately describes a piece of jewelry

2. The peace of mind that comes from knowing that their jewelry’s value has been properly determined by professionals.

3. In the unfortunate event of loss, theft or destruction we are able to recreate the piece from photographs and sketches that we attach to every appraisal.
